Violet felt like she had to much time on her hands, she chose to work extra hours just to avoid being home, it always felt so empty.. just lonely.
One rainy day as Violet was walking home she would come across an octoling trying to find a place to take cover from what would become a pretty harsh storm, They looked exhausted and like they hadn’t been eating well. Violet would approach them and ask if they wanted to “rest at her place, just to avoid the storm”. The octoling looked reluctant but would choose to accept her offer, it was that or try to survive the storm. The octopus would end up staying longer than expected but Violet didn’t mind, they where eating better than before and even started talking to her more often. Violet would soon ask the octoling if they’d want to officially move into the apartment, she did have a spare room that they could use, all she’d have to do is move some things to storage. The octopus would happily accept this offer. Violet would start being excited to get home, she had someone to talk to, the house didn’t feel so empty anymore.
