Thank you....scales can get a bit boring after a while but as you gradually see the effect building up and it starts to look good you sort of get more inspired to carry on....so it's a kind of pain/pleasure thing in the end!

Thanks Rhonda, I sculpted the base in clay, it's all one piece together with the croc sitting on it! I tried to make bases that complimented the creatures/characters that were mounted on them, so for this one I went for a twisty serpentine plinth.
