Awesome guy!
I have been using this as background for my desktop, it inspires me, the macro detail. Other thing is the larger particles put me off a bit.
Anyway, I find the JPEG compression artifacts do not do this image justice at all, do you have a lossless PNG or BMP? Man, would pay for this.
Thanks in advance for any response.

I'll probably keep this link valid for about a month or so, but this is an 8k png version for you: drive.google.com/open?id=1tYBZβ¦

After several hours of digging, I managed to actually find the original file used for this render so I'll see what I can do for you. (for the last 3 years I was under the impression I didn't actually have it any more, so I'm extremely excited about this all)

I love it! I know it's supposed to look like a galaxy, and it does, but it also reminds of ice and water and even glass. The middle actually looks a lot like an eye. I love the contrast of the light blue and the black background; it makes the entire piece incredibly relaxing to look at, like I'm floating in an endless dark lake with nothing but shadows, stars,Β and silence around me. It also looks like it's in motion, which makes it fascinating. You did a beautiful job with it.

Wait, was this just in Apophysis? Or was there any other editing involved?
I started using the program myself recently so I'm just curious. This looks really neat

This was done primarily in apo, with mild amounts of post-render cleanup, but no major changes.

Aliens must exist, even though there isn't any evidence, we cant be the only ones.. we cant be that lucky.

Lucky, really?!? With 1000's of potential planets in our galaxy alone, to say nothing of the billions of galaxy's in the universe there's no way we're alone. It may take 200 or 300 years before we find any signs of anyone else (I don't think it will take that long), but sooner or later we will meet someone else.

Oh ok, the way I read your comment it seemed like you were hoping there wasn't anyone one else.

Some of your work made me interested in fractals in the first place, so your comment means quite a lot!

Most of the effects wouldn't be possible without Apophysis.
