Wrinklefeather and her father, Poolstar, after the death of all hers and her sister's kits. Wrinkle was left alone at the camp for a while as every other cat, save for a badly injured elder, was out searching for the badger that had been scented, when the badger was right next to the camp. NightClan had something to do with this, she's sure. it broke into the nursery while Wrinkle left for a moment to grab a piece of fresh-kill from the pile. When she saw the badger was in the nursery, she ran to do what she could, but was still weak having very recently kitted. When she got to the scene, two of her sister's three kits were already dead, one of her own was critically injured. Pouncing on the badger's back, she did all that she could to fend it off, but during the struggle other kits were killed. The badger bit Wrinkle in the mouth and threw her off of him, taking the chance to kill the two kits who were left. Wrinkle got up and chased it off before it had the chance to pick up more than one of the bodies, leaving with the corpse of Leankit. Wrinklefeather rushed to the one kit who was still crying out in pain, Otterkit. Her deceased sister's youngest and smallest kit. Licking him to try and stop the blood gushing out of his hind leg, she couldnt do much as it was already too late, the kit having hit his head and having several broken bones. She continued to comfort him as he died pressed against her soft belly fur. Wrinklefeather was left extremely overwhelmed with guilt, and when the rest of the cats came back, she couldnt bear to even look at them. She wouldnt even let the medicine cat tend to her wounds. The nursery no longer had its milky scent, as the entire place just smelled like blood, and badger, and all she could hear was the echoing of the kits crying.

She couldnt do anything.
She couldnt save them.
