being in love is the worst feeling i have ever felt. it feels terrible. it feels like you're stuck at a fork in the road. you aren't able to choose whether to go left or right. the thing is, one way leads to happiness and satisfaction and the person you love loves you the same or even more. the other direction is horrible. it leads to you feeling disappointed and lonely and angry and rejected and unloved. and the worst part is that it most often feels like i'm leaning more towards that side. what's even worse is that the one you love and care about and want to protect is the one who pushes you down one of the paths.

and once you've gone one way there's no turning around.
