The formation of the slug is reminiscent of the sticky blobs in the film, only this time, he gets gagged by them first! That’s the only thing that bugs me about that scene, I wish we could’ve seen his face get fully absorbed. Or seen a little shot of him completely covered up afterwards, but that might’ve been considered too traumatising for the kids haha. I wonder if they keep growing even after he was sealed up. In this case, they grow into the shape of a slug. They’ve even turned his suit green!

the final hood is likely what he’d be wearing when released, a nice tight gag whilst the villain shares his evil plans.
