I close my eyes,

and turn away.

It's hard to do,

yet I do it everyday.

The way the world is going,

and the way that it has gone.

I see what is going on,

and yet I know its wrong.

So much the world has changed,

and so different it may be.

There are some who may ignore it,

am I the only one that sees?

Murders, roberies,

Theft and hate.

Bombs, bullets, and guns,

weapons we create.

Some people see,

but yet they dont act.

They just sit on their asses,

and just mentally react.

With hateful words,

pain and tears.

Crying about,

those wasted years.

Stop bitching,

and start a revolution.

Sit and think,

and come up with a solution.

Make a difference,

start a trend.

Who knows what wounds,

you may mend.

Get some motivation,

get your freinds in too.

Who the hell knows,

what all you can do.

So get out there,

and change our times.

Maybe, just maybe,

you'll save a few lives.

Times are changing,

and we hold the key.

Noone knows the future,

who knows where we will be?
