Description Once fallen, the fairest one, the morningstar, felt the cold now out of the presence of its maker. Then the fire of its new found home licked at its robes burning off the cloth to leave it evermore in unabashed nakedness so vitrolic of a driving hate that it became erect and has remained so these eons.

Before its robes burned though, there was a moment that it realized its omnipotent creator must have known that this was going to occur since the day it was willed into existance. It had been setup to take the fall and in that moment was made, as literal as though it were a law of physics, the deepest that any hate can ever reach.

Hear as it howls and know, that since we are favored by the divine, it howls for us.

Hmmm, potential meanings of that:

1) Cuervo Gold Tequilla- you really would like to get drunk and are being social about it.

2) Goldshlagger- same reason, with the benifit of drinking a heavy metal added in.

3) The promise of riches that evil tries to hook with- unfortunately evil stopped trying to corrupt me with that tactic a long time ago. BTW you have any ramen or maybe a potatoe I could have?

4) I cant off hand recall if in Paradise lost Lucifer was described as having a golden glow but I think he was. Naw, yeah I know "good salery, nice perks" but the investment for the future really bites.

Or 5) the "L" is a typo and you meant "God"- this would explain the evil grin- I dunno... I think I would have a hard time in service of a being who'd likely want me to adore and worship when I knew that he'd been bitchslapped so hard a new dimension was created where he landed. (man, now the demons are gonna come back again ... "So I hear you are talking shit about Lucifer, punk [shove]")

wow thats so crazy... man, i love that word "crazy". It was started by the beatnicks (those guys in the coffee shops who would hit the bongo's and say "cool dadio") Durring the period of modernist literature (that doesnt mean today, modernist literature ended at about 1960, we are now in 'contemperory' literature.) Whew what a cool word, sorry for the english lesson, I'm going to teach it one day. wicked peice man (an english teacher that cant spell... lol)

Shouldnt that then be "Modernish" or "Modernesque"?
No need to apologize for utter random urges to inform!! Thats the work of saints and psychos, depending on what, when, where, and how you say it ('why' determines if you are doing right or wrong )

I wanted to be an English teacher until a high school English teacher showed me the stack of papers he had to grade over the weekend after I told him my plans.

"You want to teach out of love for literature and the art of writing, right? Thats not what a high school English teacher does. A high school English teacher teaches grade school grammar, struggles against stupid policy and grades papers, lots and lots of papers by people who DONT care about art at all, let alone the art of writing." He pulled out the "in box" stack just in case his bitterness hadnt driven the stake into my desired carreer's heart.

I just pass that on because... well... bitterness like that should be passed on

lol yea, its not going to be general english. I took an ap short stories class and that is what inspired to be be a teacher. I don't want to teach high schoolers who dont really give a shit and just want to get thier credits. My previous school had literature appriciation wich was wicked cool too. Yea, bitterness should be passed on and i dont mind reading other kids works i actually already do that and tell them the grade i would give them on thier essay, im usually pretty close.

Hmmm, well that either means you think that they both suck pretty much at the same depth, or that you like em equally... but you're not English, so you mustve meant it as a compliment. Thank you.

Many thanks. It has always struck me as flat obvious that The Fall, according to the Xian mythologies, must have been preplanned and a setup to provide G with an adversarial force... now, maybe its just me but they claim to worship a god of pure love and it does THAT KIND OF CRAP to its "fairest of them all"? Wheeeee, I wonder what a cruel god is in their estimation? Anyway, its foolish to think that a creator of these multifold complexities in existance would be pure-any-on-thing. Look at tide pool life or life on the mite level if you want proof that the creator was obviously not just a pulse of love surrounded by singing angels! ITS OUTRIGHT HORRIFIC CARNAGE 24/7 DOWN THERE!

you're right, absolutely.. if an all-knowing, all-seeing deity knew that that was going to happen, how is it pure love to allow it to happen, to have set that motion in action? That's some kind of tough-love, to send the fairest down to an infernal place to burn for the rest of eternity.

You're right about the smaller organisms.. lest we forget the single cell world of eat or be eaten..

A gem of insight from Sid Meyer's Alpha Centauri:

"Gentlemen I think you miss the larger question, it is not 'why would a perfect God create an imperfect universe' but rather 'Why would a perfect God create a universe at all?'"

Isnt it amazing where the valuable wisdoms come from? When I was 10 or so I read a Fantastic Four comic where the Marvel version of Satan is torturing the FF and says to his demons:

"STOP MY PETS, let them rest... for with time even the most sublime of torments can become commonplace."

I remember putting the comic down and saying "dooooode...' (I was 10 and lived in California OKAY?) with the weight ad ramifications of that statement. I remember feeling there was a pure truth to it that trancended good and evil, painful and pleasureable in a way that engulfed them. A FANTASTIC FOUR COMIC!?!? Odd...
