Description

After so long, Rex has finally got a brand new and improved reference sheet the reason I wanted to create this is because I wanted to retell the stories of my sonic and spaltoon characters and started to learn on creating characters that aren't to overpowered but enough to protect themselves from evil so now here it is Rex is current reference sheet for 2020, and I even changed his sneakers because back than I never really had plenty of ideas until now and we will now learn more on my mascot and sonic character Rex himself I even started to use paint net a lot more and it really been a interesting experience for me.

Update: Decided to add the colours and background for a better colouring and perspective.

Species: Hedgehog (with tyrannosaurus DNA ancestry)

Birthday: May 4 (Taurus)

Sexuality: Demisexual

Personalities: Kind, caring, reckless, head strong, serious, pessimistic (sometimes), sarcastic (sometimes), head strong, empathy, insightful, stubborn and protective

Powers and Abilities: Can use the element of earth magic that causes a green like fire as a reaction and can transform into a tyrannosaurus at will.

Occupation: Member of Team Heat prince of the Dinosaur tribe

Relatives: Haru (father) Ruka (mother) Rin (older twin brother) Nicole (girlfriend) Grimshaw (Grandfather most likely) Nightshroud (Uncle or possible cousin still working on the concept )

Favourite food and drink: Curry with plenty of pork belly on it also sushi rice and mostly carbonated drinks like cola

Likes: His family, friends, meat (usually curry), hunting, protecting the innocent, Nicole, Heat, Alexis, Mira, Terry, Phoenix Felix, Zane, Alice, Rin, Angel, Dark Heat, Fire, Julii, Alice, Aqua, Zane, Ryker (Like a younger brother figure to him), Shayla, doing his job, studying about dinosaurs, training, video games, reading books, observing animals, being treated well, and relaxing.

Dislikes: Grimshaw, Nightshroud, Rin pranking him, Deva (sometimes), losing his friends or family, being compared with Heat, being called weak, his past mistakes, being called rexless, his past mistakes, and being talked down by others.

Story: Rex is a young prince from the Dinosaur Tribe who lived a simple happy life, of course life for him wasn't always easy at age 6 he met Rin who was neglected at a young age at first he thought Rin was a girl until he got a little older. Their were even times many called Rex by a infamous nickname Rexless due to the fact he tends to just rush into action without even thinking twice or making a plan like his friends would do. Things got worse for Rex when he contentiously started dating one girl who manage to manipulate him and force Rex into stuff he refuses to do even blackmailing him if he were to object anything. Until Heat and his friends manage to get his former toxic girlfriend arrested for blackmailing him later on Rex needed someone to talk to Heat was the first to help him out explaining to him. he shouldn't continue being seen as a shadow of his friend after numerous talk with Heat and his friends later, Rex has decided to accept himself not because Heat helped him but as his own person and he started to finally realize life really has a purpose when he helped out a few hedgehogs name Angel, Nicole, and Deva when they were transported to his world to escape a dangerous threat and Nicole started off as friends until she and Rex started a relationship together while it wasn't perfect at first Nicole wanted to give Rex a chance to have the feeling of love no matter what happens. When, Rex isn't going around helping prehistoric creatures around or doing missions he usually seen at his bedroom playing chess or cards with a penguin name Arctic who also happens to be his roommate or even heading to the café together with his friends singing, dancing, and just having the time of his life. It also a silly running gag Rin enjoys setting pranks on Rex as a way of having a brotherly bond that can irritate Rex at times but he still loves his older twin brother in the end. Rex also at times was tricked and lied to by his most likely uncle name Nightshroud who started to talk down on him saying he can change things for the better if he went to the side of evil but Rex refused knowing doing bad things will only further him away from helping others and he might end up being a criminal, only for Nightshroud to call Rex a fool for not understanding the benefits of the doubt that his earth magic could've been used to torment the ones who bullied and manipulated him all those years, but Rex knows better than that and continues to protect his world from all evil alongside his friends and family.

Fact of the day: Rex originally used the element of ice and his old name use to be Natsu before I changed it and his quills were once orange and hair yellow but the mix didn't look nice so the colour green I went with, but that idea was heavily scrapped because it feels ridiculous allowing a character to use more than two multiple elements at once without a good reason like maybe a magic temporary passing and I choose the element earth since Rex’s birthday is the same as my own and Taurus best suits him since he does have a little bit of a stubborn side and Rex is meant to represent myself.

Second fact of the day: I changed Rex sexuality to demisexual since Rex never once felt any type of love without first forming a close love and bond with someone he can truly love.
