Full-view please!Once again, a gender-bending idea came in mind and I just "HAD to do it!"
I was watching some episodes of Invader Zim on Nicktoons channel ... and I was HOOKED. Lately, it made me look at my own artwork through different eyes and sparked some new inspirational ideas. One of them was obviously and Invader Zim fanart dealing with gender-bending (my second attempt at it). So, I decided to draw a female version of Zim in human disguise. I'm actually quite pleased with the result, although I personally like his/her hairstyle in my original sketch better: [link] The hairstyle is slightly mimicked after Teri Kusumoto, first lead vocalist to the band Hiroshima. [Boy, what the euphoria of music can do to artwork!
]I made some slight editions, particularly her arm and the lines in her hair.

Well, Zim is a very skinny character (after all, look how thin his arms and legs are), so doing the same for the female version made sense to me.

Actually, I know that ... But I wanted to draw her with the hair because she looks better that way. Besides, it's Zim in human disguise, so you could pretend it's just a wig.

Yeah, I eventually got hooked on Invader Zim ... even to the point of recording episodes via the DVR and archiving them on videocassette. ^_^ I've been wanting to get the DVDs too, but the one I want is the one that has the episodes they didn't show in the U.S., as well as some of those few unfinished episodes that were aired.
