You grin to yourself as you approach the stump your paws tingling with anticipation. As soon as you get within leaping distance you launch yourself out of the grass. A green aura surrounds your claws, trails of blades of grass go flying in your wake as you blaze toward the stump. You slash your claws across the stump leaving gouges in the rotted wood. You leap back studying the marks you left behind. That move didn't seem to do much damage. It also wasn't what you were trying to do. Frowning you slash at the stump again only leaving shallow scratches this time. You growl down at you paws. What happened to that sparky thing? Why can't you do it again?
You shake your head and try to concentrate. You try remembering what it felt like the first time. As you do the tingling sensation began to grow in your fur again. Your eyes fly open and you lose concentration. A small wave of sparks fly a few inches from you before dissipating. Clenching your teeth you focus on the stump trying to recall the sparks to you. Your fur begins to stand on end and you can see the electricity sparking amidst your fur. As soon you feel the charge is strong enough you push it toward stump. A much stronger wave of electricity thundered toward the stump. The wave crackled across the wood and the stump seemed to freeze rather then shake like you'd expect.
You squint at the stump and tilt your head. That move didn't seem to do any damage maybe you should try a different approach. You begin to charge up electricity again as you crouch down focusing the charge in your tail. Sparks crackle at the tip of your tail as you whip your tail toward the stump. An arc of electricity thunders toward the stump striking dead on and sending bits of wood flying. A black scorched pit is left in the stump where your attack hit.
You sit back on your haunches and laugh. This feels great! The rush of the attacks the sparks in your fur. It's hard for you to believe this is the first time you've tried it. Suddenly you sober at the thought. It's probably not the first time you've tried it actually, you just can't remember...
A sloshing sounded behind you as you consider this and a voice calls out, "Kit!" You startle and whirl back toward the pond. A small scaly blue reptile is perched half out of the water on the edge of a pond. 'Totodile.' You correct yourself. The totodile is looking at you excitedly. "You're awake!" He exclaimed looking a little relieved. "Good. I was getting worried. How are you feeling?"
