Description
(Rajiv makes good on his threat of disaster; he causes Daisy to croak like a toad after switching her mouth-spray, then during a performance of the ballet from Act 3, the corpse of Ferdinand Buquet drops from the rafters, strung up by the magical lasso - much to the horror of the Doncasters, the operagoers, and Bash and Dash. As the managers try to calm everyone down, Thomas and Ashima run into each other. They flee to the rooftop of the opera, where they talk - unaware that Rajiv has followed them outside.)Thomas: There is no "Rajiv of the Opera", Ashima. He's just a man; I could take him on myself!
Ashima: Thomas, I've been to his lair. It's a world of unending night, and if I ever live to be a hundred, I shall never forget the monstrous cry of grief and rage he bellowed when I removed his mask. I remember what he said to me: "Look, you want to see? Feast your eyes! Glut your soul on my accursed ugliness! I am a bit of a Don Juan, you know?"
(She breaks away from Thomas looks out towards the skyline of Vicarstown. It begins to snow slightly, and Thomas stands next to her and holds her hand.)
Ashima: Thomas, if he has to kill a thousand men in the name of love, he will. I don't want you to get harmed.
Thomas: That isn't love, Ashima.
(She turns and sees his warm smile. Ashima hugs him tightly. Thomas soothes her, and begins singing. Rajiv listens on, hearing their every word.)

(Believe it or not, this was actually the very first pic I did for the "Rajiv of the Opera" project - as you can tell from the almost nonvisible title in the sky. This has THE best designs for Thomas and Ashima that I've ever done, and I don't think I'll be able to replicate it ever again.)
