The 6th picture of my medieval professions series. This one depicts medieval builders (carpenters?) constructing what seems to be some kind of storehouse, or a barn. The old man in blue is probably the architect, or the master carpenter, and he is holding a staff that I assume is some kind of measurement tool. Two men are on the roof nailing the wood boards, while two others are sawing more boards from a large chunk of wood. The original picture had a kind of Vermilion background with golden tree branches and leaves, which I decided not to draw because I probably wouldn't be able to do a satisfactory copy (in my terms). With this one, the first page of this series is done.I still have some trouble with perspective and proportions, but I'll eventually surpass this issue.
I'll start drawing another page, with different professions. At the same time, I intend to start a medievel military series. Let's see what happens.
