The theme is Good vs Evil and i tried to include a lot of symbolism in the image to do with the idea of two sides. The painting revolves around the idea that everything exists in pairs: good and evil, light and dark, male and female, earth and sky, storm and calm etc and also the idea that on their own they would be meaningless, but together form a whole.
