Liv Tyler as Arwen from the Lord of the Rings The Fellowship of the Ring. This piece also won a Best of Show in my high school's art show in 2005 (I was 16/17 then). Approximately 24in X 40in. Uggh! See, comparing this old one to my new one, you can tell I didn't check my facial proportions the first time. . . eyes are too small, lower face/lips too big etc etc. I like my coloring but the elements of the face are wrong. Man, I'm sooo glad I redid this one

pretty good. I could definately tell it was her... but somehow, it seems a bit off. I think maybe you've made her thicker than I imagine her in my head. I would have done it with a smaller chin/lower face
