it is a very beautifully evocative photo-composition....poignant too.
The distant, inwardly focused look in the eyes and the forcefully impressed smile with the jumble of dry branches and reflecting waters creates a very powerful atmosphere of poetic poignance and pathosΒ Β

You are most welcome... I love art and like to know what a beautiful piece of artwork has to say. It's interesting how an evocative artwork communicates with the viewer. So what I said is what your composition said to me......
Good wishes to you too and I am happy to have made you day

Ha ha...good one. They say, we can pay our way into heaven. (Well, I can't...
afford it.) But, Purgatory's free, or maybe we get paid. Anyway, that's the name of
the creek, as it flows into Staring Lake, Eden Prairie. The first settlers, not the Indians,
named it thus, due to all the mosquitoes that were a constant bother.

yeah...those crazy insects. We have a river (Mississippi) city, Hastings, MN, not far
from us, and each year, they have an incredible manifestation of Mayflies. This year,
they arrived about a week ago. And they all die there. Get this: They have to use the city's
snow plows to remove them from the roads, as the dead insects cause cars to spin out,
like, um...snow! Thanks for writing...
