In the future Oni is trying to change, most of the multiverse has been destroyed. Enchantress, the last remaining member of the Regime High Council, has gathered an army from the remnants. Calling herself a goddess, she leads her forces against the surviving superheroes. Seeing no other option, James Rogers has everyone hold off her army to buy time for the time travelers. However, some of her forces broke through and killed Velvet and Helena Wayne.
Luckily for Oni, he had been able to escape before fighting the Nomu. They had fought one another before, before he became Oni.
