can you explain how casting in resin works? do you make a mold in the soft resin and then pour metal (what metal?) inside? doesn't it melt?

you dont pour metal into a resin mould. you pour resin into a ruber mold! Then paint it metal. Check out forgeworld. that company does a lot of amazing resin

Very impressive! What brand of resin do you use if you don't mind my asking? I do a lot of moldmaking in the US and use smooth-on resins, but I'm moving to the UK soon and have no idea of what kind of resins I should buy there.
