Description
The Guild class was designed by Billy Main in 1890. They were built in a program by Bea Works to make new designs based on the Magical Quadruplets.
This class of 2-4-2s were meant for light passenger duties. Trials took place with the prototype for two years, after which several other members of the class were built.
They were fairly successful, but by 1933 they were worn out. As a result, they went in for an overhaul in the following months, were they received multiple internal upgrades.
