The Future of Trunks

On the one year anniversary of the androids' demise, an even deadlier threat emerges from space having followed a visitor to Earth. The visitor is none other than a young saiyan named Celari who came in search of Prince Vegeta. Trunks finds himself back amongst the death and horror he grew up with and blames the unwelcomed saiyan for it. He makes the decision on his own to follow in his mother's footsteps to find Planet Namek and restore the dragonballs on earth. However, Celari may be his only key to finding the new planet, and has no idea just how astonishing her origin actually is. The shadow of Vegeta is unmistakable in Trunks as he's forced to choose between keeping his pride and protecting the human race from repeating a horrendous fate.

Well now, I have a lot to say about this.
First off, well done. Those covers were the first thing to catch my attention. Then I hear that the story is posted somewhere (my dumb self not seeing this page immediately) I go on a mad hunt. I'm always a sucker for speculative stories. Though to be frank, I walk away unimpressed most of the time. Your work is refreshing.
I can tell you put a lot of work and thought into each character. I really like all of them. I'm eager to know how everyone turns out by the end, and that's unusual for me. There's always that one guy I JUST AM SO ANNOYED BY. Where I'm hoping someone kills him even if it ends up bringing ultimate doom to the story or something. The natural flow to the story is excellent. Every scene is to the point and interesting. Some of the more emotional moments were favorites of mine, especially ones involving Trunks.
The only thing I feel to point out is that there are times I see a certain sentence used repeatedly. It's not rampant, nor does it detract from the quality of the work, but I nitpick like that.
All that said, I look forward to what you have planned ahead.

You put so much effort into this, it would be unfair to leave you with just a "great job". I know the time it takes to actually sit down and write, and honestly I have only completed one story out the dozens I've thought of.
There's no need to apologize. I'm not the master when it comes to vocabulary myself. A thesaurus can be a good tool, but I make sure to double-check the meaning of the word and how it is used. For me, I've learned how to write by reading. I'm very inspired by Harlan Ellison and Issac Asimov's works and their methods.
A phrase I saw the most had to do with sweat dripping off one's brow during a tense situation. It's mostly a descriptive thing, sounding all too similar each time.

I really like your story. It's been a long time since a fanfiction hooked me like yours did.
