It depicts Nyari meeting her future Canaï, Segrel, for the first time
Segrel was a rice farmer, what is shown in the background is *supposed* to be a rice field - Nyari, being wild still at that time, was trying to steal these bags of rice (probably to make herself a bed xD), Segrel is startled and intimidated by the huge beast in front of him
