Description
Bruce Banner was one of the world's leading minds on gamma radiation. His lab and team worked towards unlocking gamma radiation as a potential for a clean, sustainable energy provider. However his lab fell into crisis conditions. A reactor suspicious reactor leakage bathed the building in radiation, killing most of the people inside. While Bruce was caught in the lethal radiation, he was not killed. Instead he mutated to a great green beast, wreaking destruction on the building and the neighboring town in incoherent rage.

The Hulk was pursued by the military, led by his own father in law "Thunderbolt" Ross. Bruce eventually reverted to his normal form, tired and weak. Accompanied by his wife Betty, Bruce fled into the wilderness, racked with guilt he wanted to right the wrongs The Hulk committed the night he was born, and try to control the beast.
