Bio:

The Autobots' most prominent medic and one of Optimus closest confidants and role models.

Forged in the relatively obscure city of Vaporex, she came out with exceptional skills for precise handywork and surgery that made her rise through the ranks of the medical world like no bot before her.

Sadly, this quick rise brought her face-to-face with the dark and corrupt side of the medical community, having witnessed atrocious and unethical experiments on innocent bots of all ages.

This caused the optimist in her to shrivel away and to develop a much more cynical mindset.

Despite that, she sticked to her moral and ethical code no matter what, even when got her expelled and excommunicated by the same corrupt individuals that didn't follow her principles. It is also one of the major factors why she is one of the few medical personnel to join the Autobots.

After serving many cycles as their best medic, she faced the biggest challenge of her life yet: raising the now fully-orphaned Pax siblings, which she did reluctantly and with protest at first, but grew to care for them in a maternal sense. Sadly, one of them was killed in action during their stint as Autobot leader and the other developped psychological problems she couldn't fix.

Through it all, however, she never stopped putting the health and safety of others above her own.

Personality:

Ratchet is a ruff 'n' gruff fembot with a short fuse and an even shorter tolerance for the antics around her, causing her to let out some volatile responses.

Beneath that rough shell, however, is a caring and altruistic person who has nothing but the well-being of others in her mind.

Her relationship with Optimus also shows her more maternal side, keeping him in line when he steps out and giving him advice and care when he needs it.

On a more humorous note, she is also the biggest alcoholic of the Autobots, drinking herself to near-faint when she is off-duty. This makes the others particularly worry for her own health, but it also makes her one hell of an party animal, one that puts some life into the most boring festivities.

She is also someone who follows her principles to a fault and refuses to compromise them, no matter the situation, likely stemming from her time in the medical community.

Ratchet is a very skilled medic and surgeon, being very knowledgable around the cyber-
tronian and, later on, human anatomy and working with precision and dedication in any situation.

- Good fighter:
While not on the same level at combat such as Silverbolt or Ironhide, Ratchet knows enough
physical know-how to defend herself against even nastier Decepticons.

- Genius-Level Intellect:
Ratchet is a genius through and through, being somewhere close on Perceptor's, Wheeljack's or
Sentinel Prime's level

Arsenal:

She has no real weapons for combat, being a medic after all. Doesn't mean she can be nasty with any knife she gets her hands on!

Trivia:

- Normally, Ratchet is a male character, but this one is female. This is a reference to one of their earliest profiles, where Ratchet was actually a girl!

- Her Design is based on multiple incarnations of her character:

-Some elements from the IDW version.

- Alt-Mode is similar to the Aligned version, more precisely the War for Cybertron design.

- The head is a amalgamation of the Prime and IDW design.

- The coat is an original idea.

- If she had a voice, it would be someone who can go from compassionate to "biggest chew-out in history" at the drop of a hat.
