Description
After some time, I decided to upload a version that can be printed of this "top of my creation".I have mixed feelings when looking to this work since it was, ultimately, the result of some kind of hazard as you might see if you"ll continue reading below, on one hand and on the other one, I don't believe I shall be ever able to create something comparable with this piece.Β It is also sad that in the meantime, people who were inspiring me so much related to this pic like Sylvia Kristel (the actrice) and Piere Bachelet (the singer) are now in a different (better ?) world and I already consider this pic to be my artistic heritage ...

Original text:
Paris - Rue Rivoli
This is the story:
I was enjoying during last June (2011) several days in Paris with my wife. While sitting in a "post-rainy" day in a sidewalk coffee house on Rue Rivoli where you cannot park, a nice young person (a girl) in an old MiniMinor stopped and waited (later-on I found out she waited for her mother). I took a pic and cropped out the face. She is exceptionally pretty and looks like EMMANUELLE (a hot French movie around the mid 70's representing a real revolution in the Cinema World when it appeared ...). In addition the passed rain left many drops on the car window fact that amplifies a special kind of effect...
Just to point out additionally that this movie (EMMANUELLE) has practically moved the main-stream positioning vis-a-vis the "hot movies" to some point that has never ever been reached before and that is the quasi-unanimously "accepted" one today (outcome of the mentioned before revolution)
I like this piece !

Well deserved DD because the photo is magnificent. The girl is even prettier than Emmanuelle, sweeter. Congrats! Β

Liked this very much! Perfect Parisian mood away from the bustling Boulevards and the touristy areas. A parisian lady waiting in her car, deep in thoughts. A real masterpiece! thanks for sharing.

A beautiful portrait, dear Richard and a well deserved DD.
This young woman looks like Sylvia Kristel indeed. She was my age and lived in the same neighborhood in Utrecht.
May she rest in peace.

Such a beautiful, emotive portrait - you sensed the 'decisive moment' and captured it. Great work.
