Description After some time, I decided to upload a version that can be printed of this "top of my creation".
I have mixed feelings when looking to this work since it was, ultimately, the result of some kind of hazard as you might see if you"ll continue reading below, on one hand and on the other one, I don't believe I shall be ever able to create something comparable with this piece.Β  It is also sad that in the meantime, people who were inspiring me so much related to this pic like Sylvia Kristel (the actrice) and Piere Bachelet (the singer) are now in a different (better ?) world and I already consider this pic to be my artistic heritage ...

Original text:
Paris - Rue Rivoli
This is the story:
I was enjoying during last June (2011) several days in Paris with my wife. While sitting in a "post-rainy" day in a sidewalk coffee house on Rue Rivoli where you cannot park, a nice young person (a girl) in an old MiniMinor stopped and waited (later-on I found out she waited for her mother). I took a pic and cropped out the face. She is exceptionally pretty and looks like EMMANUELLE (a hot French movie around the mid 70's representing a real revolution in the Cinema World when it appeared ...). In addition the passed rain left many drops on the car window fact that amplifies a special kind of effect...
Just to point out additionally that this movie (EMMANUELLE) has practically moved the main-stream positioning vis-a-vis the "hot movies" to some point that has never ever been reached before and that is the quasi-unanimously "accepted" one today (outcome of the mentioned before revolution)
I like this piece !

It's a stunning work of art Riki. She is certainly a beautiful woman, but comparison with Emmanuelle makes me sad. Not because you made this comparison (you are quite right, she really looks like the character from the movie) but because Emannuelle is one of several films that have served to gradually bring pornography into the mainstream, as a backlash against the rights won by second wave feminists. The result of it, from women's perspective, has been disempowerment back into sexual servitude, under the guise of "coolness" "liberation" and " sex positivity", in a world in that revels in exploitation of young females and denial of their victimhood. As a woman who has experienced consequences of this too, my heart aches, and perhaps because this piece inspires such deep thought and reflection, I find it even more beautiful than what's just skin deep and frozen in time. Through it, I not only see the whole woman, but that woman through stages in her life and in context of her culture. The fact she is waiting for her mother while we think of Emmanuelle much better expresses what I just wrote...

my dear friend, as I am able to judge in accordance with your own disclosure, for sure that
personal life experience impacts the way you see, feel and understand ART.
While I entirely respect and sympathize with your feelings, I still believe that there is a huge distance between
the "Emmanuelle" wave of liberation that the movie brought at that time and the real pornography that invaded later-on our lives.
As long as people can differentiate between a "screen story" and the real life and keep this distinction clear, we
might try and experience things that are, eventually, not part of our life but can create and convey to us positive and new emotions.
Regarding my work in particular since, as described, my personal experiences linked with Emmanuelle had a different context,
I have considered by granting this title to my work a token of respect and consideration to what this movie represented for me (us).
The fact that the actor in the movie passed away (under tragic circumstances) a few years after taking the pic just emphasized howΒ
ephemeral things are in life, as I never again was able to create something similar and this work itself remains unique and completelyΒ
random in my otherwise quite humble artistic creation.
Thank you so much for your attention and time dedicated to my works
