Laboon is the whale Brook's crew took care of when it was a baby. They had to leave it behind though, as the voyage ahead was going to be much too dangerous for the whale. Brook promised, however, that he would eventually come back for Laboon. Laboon is still waiting for him, and he's a full grown whale now. Brook and Laboon have actually yet to reunite.

at the thumbnail I thought it was the fail whale from twitter, but know I know who he is, I love one piece I own ever vol thats out and started watching the anime finally and month ago (fun fact: Brook holds the title now as the tallest member of Luffys crew, he's 8'9"!!! I don't even think the NBA would accept him ehhehe, for a little while it was Nico Robin who was 6'2" surprisingly then it was Franky but I forgot what it said how tall he was but I new he was taller)
