Sorry, but I find it kinda stupid when people actually SPEAK chat language, like saying "lol" instead of laughing and such things.But it's funny though, hehe.

Hmmmm... I admit I enjoy the comic, but for a different reason. I remember back when BBS and binary newsgroups originated 1337 and the like -- it was a form of slang shared by computing professionals (read: grunt workers) in the vast chain of IT. Like all slang, it is language designed to exclude people who aren't "in the know."
As it evolved, it became more of a means of mocking stupid people who had adopted it than anything else... but those are both stories for another day.
Thus, returning to the topic at hand, I honestly have to say that I take great pleasure in sometimes walking up to a group of bubble-headed teenagers and shouting "lawl."
