Description
A commission for Andrea Wilhelmsson.These two characters are her original characters, Wind (blue/cyan) and Shadow (purple/violet). The creator hasn't confirm a name for them yet, so I just use their element names.
When I was drawing this, I was planning to put a very simple background. But sometimes, I like to get overboard and sometimes, I forgot to think that if I put too much, it will ruin the whole pic.
After a few more attempts, this is the background I managed to draw out. It's hard to draw background without any references. XD;;; Luckily I didn't have to draw anything that involves with buildings or other difficult backgrounds.

I think the background looks very nice. However, the grass seems to be bent towards Wind as if there was some wind, so wouldn't Shadow's hair be flowing in a similar direction?

they look bouncy and playful. the purple one looks like Raven.

Ahh the wonder of the elements, my character Tyro has the elemental power of fire at her disposal, irony being she's quite often rather timid.
I like how the two characters have personalities that coincide with their elements. As one can see, Shadow is looking rather inactive, simply sitting there with an almost unemotional look to her, quite like me, where as Wind has a more active look to her, floating above Shadow and trying to get her to do something.
I sense shoujo-ai here, although that could just be me, one of my interests
