Description
so in order to try and improve on my art style, i'm going through some screenshots of TLK 1 (and maybe TLK2) and trying my best to draw in the original lion king style (with maybe a little bit of my own style mixed in cause you cant perfect this style overnight). my process involves drawing it once with a reference, then--and i'm not afraid to admit this--i trace over the original screenshot to get a better idea of how the lines all fit together. last, i hand redraw looking at my traced version to come out with the final version you see here!

i've always sort of struggled with cub faces, and somehow simba ended up looking a little more like a cub mufasa imo! just give him a bigger chin and bam. i almost kinda like how much he looks like mufasa here. i also just think this screenshot is so cute hehe. i hope yall like! im gonna try to do more of this series throughout the next few weeks, look forward to it x3
