I did this drawing for... heu...
I would "speak" about the factor of the compassion.
Even if Freya is a girl I think that male people tend to not feel compassion for strong personality like her .

Freya was my favorite character from FFIX, and I think most people didn't like her because she wasn't a fiesty human girl. Freya had the most tragic story and the most sympathetic personality of all the characters. Poor Freya gets no love

I suppose it really depends who you are, but among my circle of friends, we all feel that Freya should've had a much larger role in the game as she was one of the more amazing characters to come out of 9. We relate to her feeling of absolute loneliness, though not in the same way as she does. We've been very truly alone for a long time, but perhaps not forgotten by the last one we can recall that cared for us.

Ummmmmm.......This picture is from personal experience you say? So Freya is chained up because of something that happened to you? Is that what your saying? Sorry if I'm being a little nosy, I'm just really curious as to why she's chained up (Freya's my FAVORITE FF character EVER)
Must say though, BEAUTIFUL work, its so dark and morbid and depressing, in fact its given me an idea for a Fanfic now with Freya, thanks for the idea, when I finish it I'll send ya copy if you want.

I disagree. I actually fell in love with Freya... Almost 3 years ago.
It is not looks that one should focus on, but rather the heart and mind. Freya is gorgeous, mind you, but still, what is on the inside really counts.
But nobody is as gorgeous as my fiancee, Jana (Virus-Cherub here)...

I love your style, how do you draw your art? - Do you start with pencil and then colour it digitally, is it all digital? Somehow you manage to capture immense feeling in all your pictures.
