thx to all for their nice comments! Looking forward to walk through these houses this winter ... so it's real
Because of so many deviants asking for exifs and where it is:
The picture was taken in Albstadt/south-west of germany. I've used a Canon System: EOS 20D + 135/2 @ f/11, 15 seconds (Dec. 2005)

Mir gefällt die Tiefe in deinen Bildern so gut. Mit Tiefe meine ich, dass das Foto es schafft mir eine Stimmung zu vermitteln. Du schaffst es den Moment mit all seinen Eindrücken und seiner Athmosphäre abzulichten.
Und man will sofort selber zum Ort des Geschehens.

Ein wenig ist das aber dieselbe Tiefe, im Sinne von Räumlichkeit. Je räumlicher und lebendiger ein Bild erscheint, desto echter die Atmosphäre. Aber wenn das nur immer so ginge wie hier. Zwölfzehnhundert Bilder sind anders. Manchmal ist das Licht so schlecht, daß man durch normale Kontrastanpassungen und Tonwertkorrekturen keine Räumlichkeit mehr reinbekommt und Schatten malen müßte ... siehe "Island" von mir. Flach wie n Pappaufsteller, die Burg. Das muß nicht immer schlecht sein, eine Bildstimmung kommt auch so auf. Aber lieber ist es mir wie hier; wobei das natürlich der glückliche Idealfall ist, schräg von oben, halb im Nebel, Häuserreihen, etc.
Mein Problem ist glaube ich, daß ich hauptsächlich Bilder mache, auf die man draufguckt und sie (wenns klappt) nur schön findet. Was in praktisch allen meinen Bildern fehlt ist eine Tiefe im Sinne einer Bildaussage. Etwas zum Nachdenken. Vielleicht fehlen mir einfach die Menschen, die durch Mimik und Gestik grundsätzlich mehr vermitteln, als eine starre Landschaft. "Her secret" erzählt spontan Geschichten. Dieses Bild ist einfach nur schön anzusehen ...

Man braucht aber auch viel Glück, bei so einem Foto, wie "Island". Da muss alles stimmen, Wetter, Lichtverhältnisse usw.
Und dennoch vermittelt das Foto mir aber schon etwas. Hast du versucht es nachzubearbeiten?
Wenn du Bilder willst, die Geschichten erzählen, mach doch welche. Überleg dir etwas und setze es um. Wenn du Menschen brauchst, frag Freunde. Hauptsache du hast Ideen, aber die brauchst du nicht einmal wirklich. Bei "her secret" war das ziemlich spontan eigentlich, da hab ich nicht lange herum überlegt. Es hat sich einfach so ergeben.
