Fantastic use of a large header image, and a very nice muted palette. I love the small touches of pink here and there while the rest of the design is rather reserved color wise.
Some constructive criticism would probably have to be I am not feeling the "posted by" footer font size/font is it different than the body, also is it condesnsed. Maybe its just me, but I feel like the box around it is unnecessary. I would try and see how it looks without.
All together the design has nice hierarchy, and overall appealing looks

This is a really amazing work! I love the pink on the grey background. Iยดd really like to have such a great Blog-Layout too... ^^
