Description
This bad boy is my rendition of the Ultimasaurus, a cancelled hybrid of tyrannosaurus, triceratops, velociraptor, ankylosaurus, and stegosaurus from Jurassic Park Chaos Effect. Last year, I started doing the Chaos Effect dinosaurs but I only got the Compstegnathus done and I don't intend to continue but I knew eventually I would have to do the Ultimasaurus.

It's made a resurgence since and before Jurassic World came out as people see as a contender or superior to the rather cohesive looking Indominus Rex and Indoraptor. When someone thinks hybrid dinosaur, the ultimasaurus closer matches the wild ideas one could come up with.

The Ultimasaurus was a canceled toy though a baby version was released. I have seen many different fan designs for this creature, from bulking brutes to spindly, showy saurians or realistic rationalizations to cartoony creatures. I wanted mine to be a powerful and athletic. I will admit the pose and background are quite plain so you can expect a second alternative image soon.

I imagine the Ultimasaurus being an unpredictable predator. It uses its body like a swiss army knife, coming up with a different way to kill its victims. Whether human or dinosaur. Some are slashed with sickle claws. Pierced by horn, bitten, crushed, thrashed, rushed down, overpowered. This beast is intelligent yet lacks the tempting curiousity of the Indominus as she found her place or the Indoraptor's deranged psychopathy. Instead it charges in, ready to fling it's mixmatched weapons into battle with random instincts guiding it's intentions.
