In the wake of the protests caused by the unlawful death of George Floyd by the hands of the police...a unarmed 22 year old black protester named James Scurlock has been killed by a known racist store owner. This happened in my hometown. The killer James Gardner was let go by the Omaha Police Department and now is allegedly fleeing to another state. We cannot allow this to keep happening. How many more brothers and sisters have to die before oppressive regimes are held accountable for our mistreatment? A regime that emboldens racist to the point they feel the right to carry out so called “street justice”. It’s just another excuse to kill a brother. Silence is compliance. Long live the memory of #jamesscurlock
