"Daydreams are a kind of pollution," it whispers in a voice made of discarded memories. “Clogging pipes, poisoning lakes, scaring the clouds,” it warbles, wading through a puddle of nostalgia like an immense tadpole. “Daydreams were made to be disposed of.” Imaginary smog fills my thoughts as it leans in close; “You should let me eat them.”
