The story of Masked Rider Silver Soldier begins with a teenager named Charles Waker who, during his years at High School, has volunteered in a secret experiment at NASA which could possibly create a new generation of cyborgs which can travel through space without the use of a spacesuit. After a week of cyborgnetic surgery, the operation becomes a success and Charles becomes the first ever Space-Borg; A cyborg that can travel through space without the use of a spacesuit
However, before the procedure can go on for the rest of the team, a traitor, revealing himself shortly as the somehow-resurrectted Masquerade, comes into the area and sabotages the experiment, making Charles the only Space-Borg. As this is happening, Masquerade, along with his partner Lizzy, have decided to build a new evil army of monsters known as Zorborots to destroy all of the planet Earth as a type of revenge against the ones who have destroyed Masquerade in the past!
In order to save the Earth, the president of Nasa tells Charles that not only is he now a Space-Borg, but he also has a special power given to him in case of emergencies which transforms Charles into a a new superhero known only as Masked Rider Silver Soldier!
Now, with this new power inside him, it's up to Masked Rider Silver Soldier to defeat Masquerade, Lizzy and their army of Zorborots and save the Earth before it's too late!
