There are only two times when I actually care if people comment before faving:
1. When the person faves half of my gallery and NEVER COMMENTS ONCE, so I feel like they don't even look at my art. I mean, a few pics is okay, but 20 pics makes me wonder if they're doing it because they like it, or for the pageviews.........
2. When someone says to comment before faving THEIR art, and yet they NEVER comment, I feel that is hypocritical.
I really coulden't care otherwise.

I agree, people who say 'If you're going to fave then comment, it's rude if you don't comment when you fave!' Thankfully I've only seen it once!

personally, i don't care which i get from people, because both mean someone likes it (unless you get hate commenting). hell, faves are sometimes better because then i don't have to read anything, just see that they like it >_>
