Description
After World War II, Nash made the six-cylinder engine its largest engine, even on the prestigious Ambassador. This 1948 Nash Ambassador sedan was donated by Mr. Louis Garrone to the Travel Town Museum in Los Angeles's Griffith Park. The Nash Ambassador, which was introduced in 1927, was built until Nash and Hudson combined to form American Motors Corporation (AMC), after which the name was maintained by the large AMC Ambassador until 1974. Perhaps Chrysler could try reviving the name for its next luxury sedan?
