Description
This model of Gresley A1 Pacific (4-6-2) steam locomotive Flying Scotsman at the Greenberg hobby show (Dulles Expo Center, Chantilly, Virginia) shows how the not-so-jolly green giant will look after it emerges from its protracted restoration: not as it is best known (LNER 4472) but as it was retired from British Railways (BR 60103).Related content

Ooh! I was first opposed to the BR green, but the deflectors say otherwise.

I really wish I could find British model trains in my area, but European model trains are really hard to find around here (West-Central Illinois). Most of the European model trains that do turn up are either German or Swiss (and the few British model trains which do turn up are usually broken). A BR Standard 4MT tank engine or an LMS Black 5 and 4-5 LMS Period III coaches is all I want.
