Description
The Curtiss C-46 Commando was less popular as a transport than the Douglas C-47 Dakota, but it could carry more cargo. In the 1950s, the newly-formed Japanese Air Self-Defense Force (JASDF) used some Commandos, one of which is on display outside the museum at Hamamatsu Air Park.
