Description Builder's model of Canadian Pacific Railway (CPR) steamship SS Princess Helene, which was launched by the Denny shipyard of Dumbarton, Scotland in 1930 and used as the Bay of Fundy ferry from St John, New Brunswick to Digby, Nova Scotia.  The 4000-ton "Digby boat" was as luxurious as many ocean liners and sailed safely despite the Bay of Fundy's notorious 16-meter tidal range until 1963, when she was ceremonially retired and sold to Chandris Lines of Greece.  Her new owners operated her as budget cruise ship SS Carina II until 1972 and sold her for scrap, which was completed five years later -- at least the model survived and is now displayed at the Canada Science and Technology Museum in Ottawa.
