Description
Norfolk and Western Railway M2c “Mastodon” 4-8-0 steam locomotive 1151 (N&W Roanoke Shops, 1911) was retired in 1950 but had to wait until 2009 to be acquired by the Virginia Museum of Transportation, where it will eventually be restored. I hope to see it back in one piece and sitting in the Claytor Pavilion with the other locomotives some day.
