Description
For the third operational test train run at Popondetta today, I coupled the Kato 2-6-4 C11 tank engine to a seven-car freight train and ran it twice around the hobby shop layout. The full train consisted of:- C11 locomotive
- Ya-400 service van
- Re-12000 refrigerated van
- Toki-25000 gondola car
- Tiki-5000 flatcar with JNR containers
- Taki-3000 tank car
- Wara-1 goods van
- Yo-5000 brake van
This type of short freight train will be the main type of operation on my model railway, as I can mix and match lots of freight cars and pretend they are serving different industries. Now all I need to do is being construction....
