Description
These three models of locomotives built by English Electric for export are displayed together at the National Railway Museum in York. From left to right, they are Pakistan Western Railway (now Pakistan Railways) 5'6"-gauge Class BCU30 electric locomotive No. 7001 (EE with AEI, 1966), East African Railways (EAR now Kenya Railways) metre-gauge Class 90/87 diesel locomotive No. 9001 (EE Vulcan Foundry, 1960), and a Rhodesia Railways (RR now National Railways of Zimbabwe) 3'6"-gauge Class DE2 diesel locomotive (EE Vulcan Foundry, 1955).
