This 1/5 scale model of the first Japanese supercar, the Toyota 2000GT sports coupe (built 1967-1970), is displayed at the Toyota Commemorative Museum of Industry and Technology (トヨタ産業技術記念館). The 2000GT was built as a coupe, but two convertibles have been seen in fiction: one used by James Bond 007 in You Only Live Twice (as Sean Connery was much taller than Akiko Wakabayashi or Mie Hama and could not have ridden the car otherwise) and one by Haruka Tenoh/Sailor Uranus in Sailor Moon (as Naoko Takeuchi is a sports car enthusiast).Related content
