Description
The third of the 5 Platonic Solids, this is the Octahedron. It has 8 equiangular triangle surfaces, 12 edges & 6 vertices. The Octahedron is the 'dual' of the cube, meaning each of the 12 edges relates one to one to each other. I made a model of a Octahedron / Cube dual, I will post it here pretty soon to show how they relate.These classroom models are great for lectures in high schools & universities, libraries, and for those interested in sacred geometry as an art form.
