Alright, time to ramble about Blitzø’s Ex!

I honestly like the prospect of her character having an old relationship with one of the main cast members, it gives a little more perspective about who characters have more of an older history together and how that spills out into the juicy drama of the present! The episode she debut in had a funny conflict over the parking spot she stole from I.M.P and literally being the office space directly across from Blitzø’s—which I can assume was in an attempt to spite him—, but otherwise their relationship just boils down to them being bitter ex’s with no other nuance to what lead them to break up in the first place (aside from a weird joke about Blitzø stealing her credit card for some horse thing) nor how they spiraled to feel so strongly against each other…Unless this is like Glitchtale again, where there’s some secret supplementary material I don’t know about for some reason (why does this keep happening?). Verosika herself isn’t terrible, but for a character who had apparently a romantic relationship with one of the main characters, I sorta forgot she existed until she showed up again in the dream sequence Blitzø had with Moxxie, and later as a brief cameo in the Ozzie’s episode. Which is funny, considering she has an office ACROSS THE HALL FROM I.M.P??? What are the folks at Spindle Horse smoking.

Verosika Mayday is a Succubus who once had a relationship with none other than Blitzø. Amongst partaking in lustily entertainment, Verosika is well known in Hell for her vocal talents, particularly for her seductive voice acting in various forms of adult media. She formed a brief romantic partnership with Blitzø after helping him to get back up on his feet after he lost his job after a tragic accident involving the circus he grew up performing in, and with such an alluring voice like hers, how could anyone resist? While the two genuinely loved each other, the two would eventually drift apart through Blitzø’s unwavering anxiety of losing her around someone as dangerous as him—He practically blames himself for what happened to his mother, Fizzarolli, etc.—, and through Verosika unable to help Blitzø impart to her nature as a succubus, leading to a difficult break up. Over time, this lead Blitzø to spitefully believe that she had betrayed him, that he genuinely cared about her when no one else in Lust ever would, while Verosika thought he was too stuck in the past that he couldn’t focus on spending time with her, and has no interest to continue that kind of relationship.

Ooh drama. Being right across the hall from each other and trying to beat each other to the office to claim their parking spot only made the break up worse between the two of them as they actively began to butt heads in whatever way they could one up the other, leading to the others at I.M.P to have the two do a pseudo anger management program together on the beach to try and rekindle their lost spark, where inevitability end up going into hijinks with Blitzø challenging Verosika that he can kill more spring breakers that she can seduce. Afterwards, the two left off on the same note they previously were, but they still hold back on completely hating each other. I would really like to’ve seen them try to make amends somehow later in the show, maybe not as romantic partners, but to at least be on good terms as friends or something, and who knows maybe she could help out Blitzø on a specific mission or something that draws them a little closer!
