A few years back I had a regular commissioner who just dissappeared. I hope everything was (and is) okay in his life but at the time we lost all communication I had a couple of commissions in hand. I had a question on one and tried to contact hom to no avail.Luckily I take payment once I've finished a commission and thus avoid the whole refund thingamy!
