That is a really great picture. We have cherry trees near us too that look like that.Β Spring is very pretty but I live for summer (although I fear that this summer is going to be a write-off unfortunately).Β Β Thank you for the nice comment.

I promised you a springtime picture when I posted the autumn one and I knew I had to get this one before the actual leaves came out. It's a very pretty area. It's actually owned by the water company so it's off limits to the public but there is an effort being made to allow hiking around the perimeter of the lake/reservoir if enough donors contribute to fund the creation of an actual trail.
I can't recall ever not seeing a car here. Even when I took the picture last fall, I had to wait for the right moment before cars wouldn't be in the photo. It's downright eerie.

Beautiful.Β My walk is as well, but is still snow covered.Β Yesterday a couple of geese showed up and sat in the middle of the ice-covered pond.Β They seemed rather confused that there was no water.Β

It's usually a busy roadway except when they close it for annual street fair. No cars today made it easy to take the picture. It's the same lake/reservoir from the picture I posted for autumn a few months ago. Thank you.
