Its difficult to get a real feel for the work as the image is so small. However at first glance my immediate impression was that the technique looks very well executed with none of the harsh lines you can expect with colored pencils at time. More importantly, you seem to have captured the same thing as the actual photo... emotion. If i had not seen the photo along with the drawing, i would have immediately still though that this gentleman was genuine and caring yet very deep at the same time. Just the impression i get from it. It is the same impression i received from the actual picture. Well done! Talented
